Baxter's Brood

Professor CaraProfessor Cara after her marriage to Baxter.

Baxter and Cara had four children all back to back, but Bax was a family man and would have had ten if Cara had allowed it. Cara loved having children too, but she was intent on learning everything she possibly could. More sim time passed and soon the children were potty-trained, walking, and talking one by one. The years continued to pass by rapidly and soon the children were all teens. Cade became quite the ladies man, Caleb took after Cara in the pursuit of knowledge, Cameron had high hopes of someday being rich, and Celeste was a girl that everyone wanted to know. Each of the teens worked very hard and went away to college with §9,500 in scholarships.

Cade continued to pursue the ladies, while Caleb absorbed knowledge like a sponge. Cam studied finance furiously and Celeste tried to befriend everyone she met. Cade was too busy romancing people to fully concentrate on his studies. Caleb had met a very attractive young woman named Jasmyn and right away he knew that he would spend the rest of his life with her. The young couple soon found a modest house they could share and lived there until their graduation. They became engaged while living together, moved in together immediately after Jasmyn was finished with college, and were quickly married. Cameron moved in with the happy couple to save money after his education was complete. Celeste lived in the dorm until right before graduation. She was a force to be reckoned with. Not only was she the Big Sim on Campus, but she also managed to keep her grades up, even with her endless socializing, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Cade was the only one of Baxter's brood who didn't concentrate fully on his studies and missed out on the highest honors.

Celeste had met the family's maid, Remington, while she was a teenager. Like many young girls, she had a crush on the man who helped her parents keep their house neat and clean. While in college, she invited Remington to one of her parties. The party was a bust, but Celeste didn't care about that. She had captured Remington's heart. When she returned home from college, she set about making sure the world knew about their love. She was the third generation to be married in the family's wedding garden.

Shortly after the birth of their first son, Damien, one of Celeste's mysterious friends had come to visit. The visitor had strange gray skin, was always covering her mouth with her arm, and had an alarming habit of stalking around muttering "Bleh." She called herself Contessa Nikki and she took quite a liking to Baxter. Perhaps too much of a liking, since she bit him. What was most strange was that after Nikki took a chunk out of Bax, he became just like her.

Cara was upset that her husband was of the undead variety and wanted very much to be like him, but Bax refused. Cara was the love of his life and he thought she deserved more than being a creature of the night. She had aged quite gracefully and he hated the thought of her peaches and cream complexion turning gray.

Cara was very upset and turned to her special friend, Rusty the Reindeer, for comfort. Unfortunately, Rusty turned out to dispense comfort of the eternal variety, and Cara was brutally electrocuted. ***Simmers note: Cara was already perma-plat & I was quite ignorant that only sims who die of old age have platinum graves. Poor Cara, it took something like six tries for her to die :( *** Bax was inconsolable when Grimmy came to get Cara and stood outside in the sunlight until Grimmy came for him as well.

Celeste and Remington felt that since they were planning to indulge Remington's desire for a large family there was no way they could raise the children on their own and Bax was resurrected.

Even though Bax was devastated at Cara's untimely death, he was elated that his daughter and son-in-law were going to carry on his father's legacy. He himself wished for six grandchildren. ***Lucky for Bax, his controller decided to indulge him.***

Celeste and Remington had Damien and Daniel before Celeste started fussing. She wanted to be wildly popular as a Hall of Famer. Remington convinced her that she needed a lot of friends to be successful in her chosed field, and he pointed out to her that she'd have more opportunity to make friends if she stayed home with the children. She agreed to stay home for a few more years and before she knew it, another baby was on the way. To their immense surprise, there were two babies in there. Dawn and Debra had arrived. Celeste agreed to have one more baby and soon Dirk was a part of the family as well.

Bax was over the moon! Only one more and he would have his six grandbabies! Remington on the other hand, was very disappointed. He was also a family man and his dream was dying a slow death. In the meantime, Celeste had managed to score her thirtieth best friend! ***Simmer's note: This is the real reason Celeste's LTW had to wait! I wanted her to score her IW. ***

Baxter and Bailey

Several years had passed and Baxter and Bailey were now ready for school. As with all good sim parents, Aaron and Andrea wanted only the best for their children, but since Andrea was a fortune sim, this meant that things had to be stepped up a notch. Her children had to attend private school. The headmaster was called, the house was cleaned, and a delicious dinner was being planned. The headmaster had just arrived, but alas, someone had caught the house on fire while attempting this marvelous feast. The headmaster was appalled and denied Baxter and Baily entrance to his prestigious school. This was just too much for poor Andrea. She went into immediate needs failure and the good Dr. Hoo had to treat her for her anxiety disorder.

At some point later down the road, the twins were finally admitted to the most elite school in the city and Andrea felt they had arrived. Time passed very quickly in Legacy. Each year felt like only minutes and soon the twins were teens and preparing for college. Aaron was started to feel old. He already felt like he had accomplished so much. He had finally reached the pinnacle of his career, his wife was very successful, and his beautiful children were about to leave home for the first time. Since he knew nothing about his past, he wanted the future generations to have a sense of where they had come from. He commissioned a famous artist to come and paint portraits of the family.

The twins worked hard at skill building and headed off to college, where the next four years sped by unremarkably. They both became members of the Delta Gamma Pi and both became engaged in college. Bailey to the delivery guy, Stephan Something-or-other (I don't remember his last name & didn't write it down. Sorry folks.) and Baxter to Professor Cara Whats-her-name (you get the idea). Baxter returned home to the family estate after graduation while Bailey found her own little villa and starting planning her life with Stephan.

Baxter and Professor Cara were married in the family's wedding garden, while Bailey and Stephan were married at their own home.

Bax was a family guy, Prof. Cara was all about knowledge as was Stephan, and Bailey took after her mother in the pursuit of the almighty simoleon. Now Andrea had died without realizing her dream of making §100K, but she did die after living a very fulfilling life (in platinum), but Aaron did reach his goal before he died.

Baxter had told Cara how imporant having a dynasty was to Aaron and how he wanted to honor his dad by having many children. Cara wasn't disagreeable to having a bunch of children but she really wanted to learn everything that she possibly could.

In the little house on Spare Lane, Bailey and Stephan had also discussed what they wanted out of life. Bailey wanted to be a Hall of Famer and Stephan wanted to be Chief of Staff. Bailey felt that having too many children would ruin her chances for a super-star career, but she was egotistical enough to want to see herself in another. Stephan didn't really care one way or the other. He was perfectly happy with just Bailey. Soon little Carly came along. "Such a beautiful angel, our family is blessed with attractiveness," Bailey thought. But one day, before Bailey really had a chance to form the young girl, tragedy struck.

Back on Founder Drive, Baxter and Cara were going about the daily business of living. Cara loved having children. First there was Cade, then Caleb, then Cameron, and finally little Celeste. All four were little blonde cherubs. One day, Bailey came to visit. Right away she went out back to look at the strange thing Bax had brought home from work with him. It ate her.

After Bailey's untimely death, Baxter had a fence put around old Bessie, so she couldn't eat another unlucky family member or visitor for that matter. Poor Carly ended up growing up without her mother's influence and turned to men for comfort (romance).

<-The Beginning / Baxter's Brood ->

The beginning . . .

Aaron Callihan was dumped off at Academie le Tour the day he graduated from high school. He had no family or even a memory of one. He had no idea where he had come from. Some say it was from foster care, others claim that he had been part of a secret government experiment. No one really knows for sure what the truth is.

Since Aaron had no positive memories of growing up, he decided to dedicate his life to pursuing a life of pleasure. His goal was to become a professional party guest, but first he had to finish college. Since his every waking thought involved things that were pleasurable, he decided to found a Greek house. What could bring more pleasure to generations of college sims than that? He needed money to be able to rent a house to charter, so he waited until his sophomore year to do the deed.

Aaron's Greek house, Delta Gamma Pi, soon became party central. To a sim whose only ambition in life was to party hearty, the situation couldn't have been better. There was always something pleasurable to do there. Jumping on the sofa seemed to be a full-time job for Aaron. When he wasn't doing that, he was in the hot tub, wearing his jammies, or blowing bubbles.

Soon four years had passed and Aaron became a fully grown man, in body, if not in attitude. He wanted something substantial to leave as a legacy to his descendants, so he left the Academie and bought a huge plot of land in the Legacy neighborhood to start his dynasty. After buying the land, Aaron discovered there wasn't much money left to buy a house or things to put in said house, so he lived on the lawn for awhile. He was lonely, but he quickly met a beautiful young woman named Andrea Hogan and was wildly attracted to her. One of the things they had in common was a love of the good life, but they did have different goals to achieve. In Andrea's case, the good life involved all the things that money could buy and she wanted to be rich more than anything else (wealth, earn §100K). After a sim-week, she consented to become his bride and brought some much needed cash to the household. The recent influx of cash allowed Aaron and his new wife to build a modest house.

In order to give Andrea every opportunity to realize her life-long dream, they decided to have children right away and limit themselves to two. As luck would have it, Andrea's first pregnancy resulted in twins. (Pre-OFB, no cheesecake.) The happy couple named their babies Baxter and Bailey. Baxter resembled his dad and Bailey took after Andrea.

The early years were very difficult. Aaron and Andrea were both feverishly working towards their life goals, but times were tough for the young couple with two young children and not enough money for a nanny to help with the youngsters. Even though their early years weren't easy, Baxter and Bailey managed to grow up well into beautiful children.

Funny Sim pics

This is Destiny Callihan. She is the niece to my current heiress, Celeste Callihan. I thought the expressions on her face were funny.

Destiny Callihan again. I've heard of having a monkey on your back, but she has a bunny on hers.
